The picadillo is one of the most cooked dishes in Mexican households. It’s usually made by adding the carrots, potatoes and stirring them while they cook. The sauce is added to the picadillo while it is cooking too. There are some varieties of picadillo that use tomatoes, chopped onions, coriander, chilli, salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
