Dal makhani and naan

Dal makhani is a very rich lentil dish made with kidney beans and black whole lentils. And naan actually needs no introduction 🙂


  • Whole black lentils (Urad dal)
  • Red kidney beans (Rajma)
  • Water
  • Ghee or oil
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Tomatoes
  • Cumin seeds
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh cream (optional)
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  • All-purpose flour
  • Active dry yeast
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Milk
  • Chopped garlic or garlic powder (optional, for garlic naan)
